2017 Sponsorship projects:

Tracy O’Reilly, a friend of Dave Howell (MS member and great supporter of the centre, from Bicester) ran the Great South Run on 22nd October.

William Jones (Karen’s son) ran the London Marathon on April 23rd. 40% of the money raised is going to the MS Therapy Centre Oxfordshire

2016 Sponsorship projects:


Jodie Evans took part in the Brackley Novice Triathlon on 2nd October, and has raised about £750.

Didcot Girls School raised £400 this year from their “Non Uniform Day”.

Theresa Emery took part in the Great North Swim on 11th June. Her personal challenge was to swim 1 mile in Lake Windermere.

Sue Doran & family took part in the 5k Colour Rush in Milton Keynes on 4th June. See pictures here

John Collett – substituting for Paul Earnshaw – ran the Paris Marathon on 3rd April.

2015 Fundraising Events:

This year’s events have raised over £8000 in total, thanks particularly to:

Shannen Preece (Julia’s daughter) did a tandem skydive on Saturday September 19th at Hinton airfield, and has raised over £400. video clip

Andy&Jan Hodgson and Angela&John Day raised ~£350 for free exercise classes in the coming year with the OMSTC swimming team’s 3 km “Italian job” swim in August.

Sue Doran ran the Royal Berkshire 10K on 17 May 2015 and raised over £1100, enabling her to purchase a defibrillator for the Centre.

Nick and David Thorne (Jon’s brothers), walking the Ridgeway, 87 miles in 4.5 days in April, from Avebury to Tring, raised about £1900

The OMSTC 8-man virtual cycle team, riding from Land’s End to John o’Groats, completed their year-long trip at the end of March, raising ~£750. Fundraisers Geoff F, Dave W, Jon T, Julia P & Gerard A.

Dave Webb’s Zipwire Challenge on March 7th in Chepstow has raised £128.

Richard Twine completed the Bath Half Marathon on March 1st and matched last year’s £1000 effort.

Tony Ball – raised £74 by not eating cake and biscuits for the entire month of April!

Richard Twine – raised £937.13 by running the Bath half Marathon in March 2014

Joanna and Richard Voller – raised £345 by giving up alcohol for January

2014 fundraising also included £10,000 towards our newly launched gym.
